The Coconut farms are one of the major part in the agriculture in Thoothai. Usually cultivated coconuts will be sold at the near by areas like Thiruppuvanam, manamadurai etc. Pricing will be fixed according to their sizes, usually it starts from Rs 1 and goes upto Rs. 5. The maintenace cost for a coconut farm is usually not affordable it involves much man power from periodical ploughing to cultivating.
